WHAT IS MARIO KART?
Mario Kart is a game where you can race against other players. You can get a few items to help yourself and there are different types of nitro and retro tracks to play on!

WHAT IS A NITRO AND RETRO TRACK?
A retro track is an old track from an old mario kart game that is being remade.The retro tracks usually have the track name and what device they were made on.For example, you might see (GCN) Baby Park or something like that. The (GCN) is the device it was made on. Retro tracks are usually found in shell,banana,leaf,and lightning cup.In Mario Kart Super Circuit on GBA (Game Boy Advance) the nitro tracks are on the lightning cup.

A nitro track is a new track being made on the game.You might not see the (GCN),(GBA),(Wii),etc because it is a new track in the game.Nitro tracks are usually found in mushroom,flower,star,and special cup. In Mario Kart Super Circuit on GBA (Game Boy Advance), the lightning cup was a nitro cup.But, now lightning cup is now a retro cup.

WHAT ARE SOME ITEMS YOU CAN GET?
You can get items by crashing into item boxes. Those are the boxes with the ? mark on them and they are rainbow. You can get a strong or weak item depending on your position. For example, you might get a banana in 1st place while you can get a star in 6th place. But, what are all the items you can get? Here is a list.

-Mushroom: Boosts you.

-Banana: Can be equipped and dropped. When a racer crashes into it, they spin out.

-Green Shell: Shoots straight forward. If a racer hits it, they roll.

-Red Shell: Shoots at the nearest opponent. If it hits a racer, they roll.

-Fake Item Box: Can be equipped and dropped.If a racer crashes into it,they roll.

-Bob-Omb: Can be equipped a dropped. If a racer goes near it, they blast into the air.

-Blooper: When used, all racers ahead of you will get an ink-like splat that can effect their vision.

-Coin: Gives you 2 coins.

-Blue/Spiny Shell: Aims for first place and blasts them into the air.

-Golden Mushroom: Can be used unlimited times for a limited amount of time.

-Lightning Bolt: When used, all racers ahead of you will shrink, affecting their speed.

-Bullet Bill: When used, you will turn into a bullet bill and you can crash into racers and you will go extremely fast.

-Star: Makes you invincible for 7.5 seconds. When racers crash into you, they will roll.

-Fire Flower: Makes you throw fireballs that can burn racers and spin them out if the fireballs hit.

-Boo: Makes you invisible and drive through things. A boo will look for an item in play and steal it.If no items are in play, this item disappears.

-POW Block: Spins out all racers and forces them to drop their items.

-Mega Mushroom: Makes you giant.You can shrink racers by stepping on them.

-Thunder Cloud: When used, it will go on you first.But, it won't do anything to you. You have to crash into a racer to pass it on and that's when it starts. After several seconds, if the racer doesn't pass it on they will shrink.

-Leaf: Makes a tail on your vehicle. You can use it to whip it at opponents and block shells.

-Lucky 7: Gives you 7 items.This includes the star,red shell,green shell,bob-omb,mushroom,blooper,and banana.

-Lucky 8: Gives you 8 items.This includes the star,red shell,green shell,bob-omb,mushroom,blooper,banana,and coin.

-Boomerang: Flies when used.Can be used to spin out racers if hit.

-Piranha Plant: Tries to eat racers. If it misses, it gives you a boost like the mushroom.

-Super Horn: Makes a giant wave that can spin out racers if the wave hits them. You can also use this to kill blue shells.

WHAT ARE SOME MODES IN THERE?
-Grand Prix: You can compete for a trophy and unlock things like characters,new cups,etc.

-Time Trials: See how fast you can compete a track and beat your record.

-VS Mode: Just a normal racing match. You will not unlock things.

-Battle Mode (Balloon): You just have to try knocking out racers with your items and steal their balloons. Whoever has the most balloons will win.

-Battle Mode (Coin): You have to try getting the most coins and steal coins from other players with your items.

-Missions (DS): You have to try to compete certain tasks and if you succeed, you will win.

MARIO KART VEHICLE STANDARDS
-Speed: How fast the vehicle is.

-Acceleration: How fast the boost is.This includes mushrooms,drifting,etc.

-Weight: How heavy and light the vehicle is. The more light it is, the more faster.But, you will easily get pushed. The more heavy it is, the more slower. But, you can push racers pretty far.

-Handling: How good you can control your vehicle.

-Off Road: How fast the vehicle is off-road.

MARIO KART TIPS
-Drift At Good Corners

-Use Mushrooms Off-Road

-Have good driving. Try not to hit walls.

-If you see a blue shell coming, drop out quickly.But, if you are pretty far. Just keep going.

-Use Bananas And Shells As Defense.

-Do Not Drift When You Are Going Straight.

-Try Not Touching The Off-Road.

-Try finding certain shortcuts.

-Do NOT use your items immediately. You have to check.

-Do not use mushrooms at sharp turns that can make you fall.Use mushrooms if the track has a corner that is far.

-Throw Items Backwards.

-When gliding, try going up and do not bump into things or else you will fall into that hole..
